Terry Wayne Shock, 65, of Owensboro passed away March 4, 2022 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on October 22, 1956 to the late Charles William and Betty Alice Rowan Shock. Terry worked as a concrete finisher. He enjoyed fishing and wrestling, but his true enjoyment came from attending church, and his children and grandchildren’s sporting and special events.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers Charles Ransom and Ronnie Ransom; sister Rachel Watson; and mother-in-law Ines Vonettia Conway.
Terry is survived by his wife of 33 years Kathy Shock; children Quinten (Natasha) Shock, Dakota Shock, Joleta Shock, Jerome Phillips, Jamie Green, and Monica Bush; grandchildren Lynnox and Maxleigh Shock; siblings Linda (William “Jr.”) Colbert, William “Bill” (Doris) Shock, Roger Shock, Sharon (Jewell) Blair and Alice Clark
Services will be 2:00 pm Monday, March 7, 2022 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial to follow at Utica Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the funeral home
