Bobby James Bloomfield, 79, of Irvington, KY, died on March 1, 2022 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Garfield, KY on November 28, 1942 to James Bloomfield and Helen Compton. Bobby was a retired heavy equipment operator and belonged to IUOE Local 181. He served as 4th District Constable for 24 years and was a member of Custer Masonic Lodge #624. Bobby served in the United States Navy for 4 years. He loved going to Black Powder Matches, fishing and looked forward to deer season every year before his health deteriorated. He took pride in growing tomatoes and giving them to friends and family. He was also an avid UK fan.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, James Bloomfield; brother, Jack Bloomfield and grandson, Austin Rothrock.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 46 years, Debbie Bloomfield

Daughters: Cristy Mills (Eric) of Battletown, KY and Sherri Rothrock of Garfield, KY
5 Grandchildren: Ashlyn Mills, Kaylee Mills, Leah Bloomfield, Hannah & Lindsey Rothrock
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home
Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 – 3:00
Burial will be in Garfield Cemetery
