
Juanita Heath Carman, age 91 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away February 19, 2022 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hardinsburg, KY on March 11, 1930, the daughter of the late Henry and Ressie Smith Heath. Juanita was a member of Garfield Baptist Church and Hardinsburg Order of Eastern Star where she received her 60 year pin. She retired from the Breckinridge County Board of Education as a bus driver. Juanita enjoyed being outdoors – mowing her yard and feeding the hummingbirds and cardinals. She was a sports fanatic and could be seen supporting her grandchildren at all their events. Sewing and cross stitch were some of her favorite hobbies. She had a great love for her family, especially her late husband Mose. When he passed away in 2007, she lost the love of her life and hers changed forever.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Coleman ‘Mose’ Carman and siblings Robert, Herman, Charlie and Henry Heath, Jr. and Ann Shaw.
Juanita is survived by her daughters: Bobbie Ann Day (Randy Huffines) and Terrie (Greg) Fentress of Hardinsburg, KY and Jo Nell (Dwight) Sebastian of Kingswood, KY
4 grandchildren: Kevin (Emily) Wright, Derek (Kelsey) Wright, Chad (Shelley) Fentress and Kate (Brandt) Bland
9 great grandchildren: Carly and Carson Wright, Coleman, Sidnee and Swayze Wright, Henry and Gracelynn Fentress, Owen and Maddison Bland
Funeral services will be held at Garfield Baptist Church on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 11 AM with burial in the Locust Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4-7 PM and Thursday, 8:30 – 10:30 AM. An Eastern Star service will be held at 6 PM on Wednesday.
Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Locust Hill Cemetery.
