GREENVILLE – Dorothy Belle Knight, 94, of Greenville, died Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 12:10AM at her residence. Mrs. Knight was born October 24, 1927, in Greenville. She was a homemaker and life-long member of Sharon General Baptist Church. She loved her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed working outside in the yard and taking care of her flowers, and she enjoyed traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Birdie Belle James; son, James William Knight; and husband, Arthur Knight.
She is survived by her daughters, Kay Knight of Nashville, Darlene Rowe of Greenville, and Sarah Guzan of Kansas City, MO; son, Rodney (Sandy) Knight of Central City; grandchildren, Melissa (Brian) Haire, Marla (Camron) Laycock, Nathan (Shayna) Rowe, Jessi Knight, Thomas Guzan, and Connor Ashley; and great-grandchildren, Isaac, Casey, Marlee, and Myla Belle.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 18, 2022, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Larry Shadowen officiating. Burial in Cave Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 10:30AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
