Apollo walked off Owensboro, while Trinity (Whitesville) lost at home.

Tied 2-2 entering the seventh, the Lady Devils Alyssa Rhineburger hit a solo homer to give her team a 3-2 lead. Needing to respond, the E-Gals scored two runs in the bottom of the inning to walk it off 4-3 thanks to an Abie Butterworth RBI fielders choice.
Liza Page went 1-3 with three RBIs, while Arianna Ramirez was 1-4 and drove in a run. Hannah Holder started in the circle, allowing two earned runs over 3 2/3 innings. Mollie Julian pitched in relief, allowing one earned run over 3 1/3 innings, striking out three.
“I feel like we competed,” Apollo head coach Stephen Julian said. “We made a couple of nice defensive plays and got some key hits. It was a fun game to play in. We just need to keep getting better as the season continues on.”
For the Lady Devils, Hessi Johnson drove in two runs, while Hayley Sikes and Rhineburger both had two hits. Rhineburger threw a complete game, allowing three earned runs over 6 1/3 innings.
Ohio County 6, Trinity (Whitesville) 5
Leading 5-2 in the top of the seventh, the Lady Raiders were unable to close it out, losing to Ohio County 6-5. Sophie Hatfield went 2-3 with two RBIs, while Madison McDaniel went 2-4 and scored three runs. Hatfield started in the circle, allowing two earned runs over 6 1/3 innings, while Ella Morris pitched in relief.
