“This is one of our most diverse and exciting lineups yet,” said Heath Eric, CEO of The Eric Group, which handles talent acquisition for the event. “We have something for everyone—whether you love classic rock, country, funk, or just want to dance on the magnificent Owensboro riverfront.”

Jagoe Homes owners Scott and Bill Jagoe, who are serving as title sponsors, said supporting Friday After 5 reflects their longtime commitment to the Owensboro community.

“We are proud to be sponsoring the 2025 season for Friday After 5,” Scott Jagoe said. “As a local builder, we’re community- and quality-oriented as an organization. Many of you out here probably come home to a Jagoe home every day. This is going to be fun. It’s going to be for the family, and it’s going to be free. Thank you all.”

Along with the music, the Kroger Street Fair will once again line Veterans Boulevard, stretching from the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum to the Hampton Inn, and slightly extending over Saint Elizabeth Street.

“Kroger… they’ve been sponsoring the street fair since the first or second year of Friday After 5, so we’re excited. They’re still hanging with us this year,” said Charlotte Newton, a Friday After 5 board member. “You’re not going to find 15 taco trucks. There’s going to be a lot of different things out there. We have some alcohol vendors. We’re going to have things for children. We’re going to have small businesses here with fun games and showing and selling some of their items.”

Newton emphasized the family-friendly atmosphere and noted the season will open with “City Night,” featuring activities from OMU, fire trucks, and other fun surprises.

“There’s still more to come. Still more announcements,” Newton said. “Make sure you like us on Facebook, make sure that you sign up for our newsletter and go to check out our website. We can’t wait to see you there. Hope everybody comes.”

The Kroger Street Fair opens at 5 p.m. each Friday, followed by Overlook Stage performances from 6-8 p.m., and Main Stage concerts from 7-10 p.m.

Friday After 5 organizers also thanked their principal sponsors, including Romain Subaru, Romain Cadillac, Owensboro Racing & Gaming, Atmos Energy, and a number of community partners such as OMU, Owensboro Health, and others.

“Friday After 5 would not be possible without the support of our sponsors, partners, and the City of Owensboro,” said Brad Howton, chair of Friday After 5. “Please let these folks know you appreciate their investment in our community.”

Admission remains free. For a full schedule and updates, visit FridayAfter5.com.
