A semi hauling an excavator struck the West Fifth Street Road overpass Monday afternoon on the eastbound side of the U.S. 60 bypass, according to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
The eastbound bypass is down to one lane, and the eastbound exit ramp from the Audubon Parkway is closed, authorities said. Drivers are encouraged to expect delays and use caution when traveling in the area.
No injuries were reported. The Daviess County Fire Department and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet are assisting at the scene.
