Hancock County shutout the Lady Cougars, while Owensboro beat Bowling Green.

Hancock County 15, McLean County 0

The Lady Hornets scored seven runs in the first inning en route to a 15-0 win over McLean County. Jordyn Waltrip went 2-3 with three RBIs, while Ryleigh French went 3-3 and drove in a team-high four RBIs. Baylee Estes and Audrey Carnes combined for four of the team’s 13 RBIs. Bella Bryant threw three shutout innings, striking out three and only walking three.

For the Lady Cougars, Leah Searcy, Sophia Mercer, and Emily Howard all drew walks.

Owensboro 19, Bowling Green 9

Trailing 7-3 early, the Lady Devils cruised to a 19-9 win over Bowling Green. Hayley Sikes went 3-4 with six RBIs, while Hessi Johnson went 3-4 with three RBIs. Elli Embry, Alyssa Rhineburger, Ayrish Barksdale, India Allgood, and Taylor Sowders drove in six of the team’s 15 runs. Rhineburger threw a complete game, allowing seven earned runs, striking out two.
