The overnight weather system has led to power outages in Owensboro-Daviess County this morning. Here’s what we know, plus how to stay updated on outages in the area. This post will continually be updated.

CURRENT OUTAGES

This list will continuously be updated, with timestamps indicating our latest updates.

8:55 a.m.
Owensboro Municipal Utilities: Approximately 285 customers are affected, most of which are near the intersection of U.S. 60 East and Lagoon Lane.
Kenergy: Approximately 130 customers are affected, most of which are in the Stanley area.

9:10 a.m.
Owensboro Municipal Utilities: OMU is down to approximately 20 customers affected.

10:15 a.m.
Owensboro Municipal Utilities: OMU is down to 1 customer affected.
Kenergy: Approximately 120 customers are affected, most of which are in the Stanley area.

12:30 p.m.
Owensboro Municipal Utilities: No customers affected.
Kenergy: Approximately 35 customers are affected, most of which remain in the Stanley area.

3 p.m.
No outages reported.

Registering for OMU’s free, interactive texting option enables customers to report outages via text and receive updates via their mobile phones. Sign up here. During large-scale outages, phone lines may be overwhelmed. Be patient and watch for updates on the OMU Facebook page.
