Significant and widespread flooding has led to numerous road closures across Daviess County. Here is the latest on what we know about.

The Whitesville Fired Department reported:
- The only currently known route from Owensboro to Whitesville is Jack Hinton Road to KY 764 then into Whitesville. (KY 54 now clear)
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office has reported the following road closures from high water:
- KY 81: 8800-9600 block (intersections of KY 1207 and Vanover Road)
- KY 1207: High water in multiple places from 2700-500 block (between Todd bridge to KY 140 West intersections)
- Tood Bridge Road: Large portions from 5500-9200 block (From KY 1207 to Keller Road intersections. Maror flooding around 6700 block near KY 554)
- KY 554: 2100 block or Todd Bridge Road intersection
- KY 54: 7200-7700 block (between Jack Hinton and Karns Grove Road intersections) MAJOR FLOODING/ACTIVE CURRENT MOVING
- Old Hwy 54: 6300-7900 block (Between Jack Hinton and Karns Grove Road intersections) MAJOR FLOODING/ACTIVE CURRENT MOVING
- KY 142: 4500-4600 block (between Old Hwy 54 and Ware Rd intersections)
- KY 764: 11000-11800 block (between McCamish Road and Rummage Road intersections)
- KY 762 near Whitesville, multiple areas
The Daviess County Public Works Department has reported the following road closures from high water:
- East:
- Upper River Road
- Iceland Road
- Rockport Ferry Road
- North Chestnut Grove Road
- Pleasant Valley Road (from Pleasant Point to South Hampton)
- Windy Hill Road
- Short Station Road
- Old State Road
- Old Hwy 54
- Karns Grove Road
- Boston Laffoon Road
- Steven School Road
- Oklahoma Laffoon Rd
- Millers Mill Road
- Central:
- Sutherland Road
- Baird Road
- East Marksberry Road
- Ben Ford Road
- Jackson Road North
- West:
- West 5th Street Road between HWY 279 and HWY 1554
- Hagan Lane South
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, District 2 has reported these road updates:
- KY 81 open with high water between the 2.4-3.6 mile points
KY 142 open with high water between the 4.4-5.9 mile points
KY 140 open with high water between 1-3 mile points
KY 298 blocked by high water between the 2-3 mile points
KY 405 open with high water between 1-2 mile point
KY 554 open with high water at the 8.3 mile point
KY 762 blocked by high water between the 0-1 mile
KY 764 blocked by high water between the 1.2-1.3 mile points
KY 951 blocked due to a landslide at the 1.3 mile point
KY 1207 open with high water between the 1.4-5,4 mile point
KY 2127 blocked by high water between the 0-1.3 and 3.7-6.7 mile points
