How well do you feel the community is prepared to deal with natural disasters and severe weather? The Green River Area Development District wants to know, and the agency has launched a survey for public feedback as it prepares to update its Hazard Mitigation Plan for the seven-county region.
This plan, due to FEMA in fall 2026, identifies community vulnerabilities, outlines potential hazards, and suggests actions to reduce exposure.
GRADD is seeking feedback from the public on the major hazards in their communities and their preparedness to respond. Those wanting to provide feedback can fill out this survey, which should only take a few minutes to complete. The survey is anonymous and will not collect personal information.
An example of some questions include:
- Are you concerned about Natural Hazards occurring in your community?
- Do you feel like your community is prepared for disaster?
- How concerned are you about each of the following natural hazards?
