An Owensboro man is facing several charges after 15 pounds of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia were found within easy access of children in a home on Jed Place, according to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a release, detectives with the DCSO Special Investigations Unit and patrol division deputies executed a search warrant in the 500 block of Jed Place on February 25 as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
Authorities said that during the search, detectives located and seized approximately 15 pounds of marijuana, THC wax, more than 800 THC-infused e-cig cartridges, digital scales, plastic baggies, heat seal bags and sealer, smoking pipes, and loose marijuana.
“All of the items could easily be accessed by children who were present in the home at the time of the search,” the release says.
Ethan I. Ramos, 27, of Owensboro was charged with trafficking in marijuana (over 5 pounds), possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.
