In a city-county match-up against rival Owensboro Catholic, the Red Devils boys’ and coed teams emerge victorious, winning 7-0 and 5-2. Senior Tristan Miller led the way bowling 278 and 224. Freshman Sebastian Lawrence bowled a new personal game-high 276, while junior Xavier Coomes bowled 243 and 224.
Andrew Christensen (214), Christian Miller (212), and Chuck Canady (202 and 199) all cracked 200 while Trey Douglas rolled 194 and 199 and Collin Hamilton bowled 192 and 182. Landon Bickett rolled a new personal game high of 164, while Emily Cooper bowled 140. The boys also bowled baker games of 277 and 210.
“It was a great night of bowling, and they did an awesome job,” Owensboro coach Regina Christensen said. “The focus is to help them prepare for regionals in a couple of weeks.”
Next up for the Red Devils, they take on Daviess County later tonight.
