It was an impressive offensive display for the Eagles, cruising past John Hardin 85-50. Landon Henning led all scorers with 27 points, 12 of which came in the second half. Kobe Kelly was second on the team in scoring with 22, seven of which came in the second quarter. Kayden Green was third on the team in scoring with 12 points, while Kayden Green also finished in double digits with 12 points. Luke Jarboe (9), Max Johnson (6), and Tate Powers (5) rounded out Apollo’s scoring.
“It was one of our best offensive games for us all year,” Apollo head coach Ryne Tinsley said. “The defense struggled in the first half, but they were much better in the second half. If we can put both together, this can be a special team.”
