Competing against Ohio County the Red Devils bowling team took care of business, cruising to a 7-0 win. Tristan Miller bowled a game-high of 266, the highest score on his team. He also added a 245, while Christian Miller bowled game-highs of 244 and 214. Xavier Coomes (232, 200), Chuck Canady (242, 258), Andrew Christensen (191), and Trey Douglas (181) also all bowled game highs.
For the Lady Devils, they were unable to keep up, falling 4-1. Kaylynn Denton bowled game highs of 132 and 130, while Emily Cooper bowled a 127 and 128.
“On the girls’ side, we are proud of the hard work they are putting in,” Owensboro head coach Regina Christensen said.
Next up for Owensboro, they travel to Bowling Green on Thursday to fave South Warren, before traveling to Paducah for a dual match with McCracken County and Graves County on Saturday.
