The Lady Raiders took down Hancock County while McLean County fell short. Apollo and Owensboro also emerged victorious.

Sarah Payne led the Lady Raiders with 12 kills in their 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-15) win over Hancock County. Caroline Hall recorded a team-high 37 digs, and Ava Coomes had two blocks while Kenzie McDowell finished with 32 assists.
“Tonight I am just really greatful for my girls,” Trinity head coach Brooke Hall said. “We celebrated our seniors as it was our “Senior Night”. Many of our seniors have dedicated a lot of their time to this sport since 6th-7th grade. They may come from a small school, but they have a big heart for this game and each other.”
Apollo 3, Muhlenberg County 0
Abbie Butterworth led the E-Gals with 15 kills, seven digs, one service ace, and one block in their 3-0 (25-21, 25-14, 25-15) sweep over Muhlenberg County. Jessica Lee recorded a team-high 22 assists, while Jessie Pate finished with 16 digs, 11 kills, three service aces, and two blocks.
“This was a great road win tonight against a tough regional opponent,” Apollo head coach Mary Howard said. “Muhlenberg is very scrappy defensively. This was our first game from taking a week off for fall break. We started off a little out of sync, but I was very proud of how the girls rallied together to make some great runs as the night progressed. We improved to 26-4 on the season with tonight’s victory.”
Owensboro 3, Warren East 1
After dropping the first set, the Lady Devils stormed back to beat Warren East 3-1 (19-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-19) behind Addie Travis’s 14 kills, eight digs, and six blocks. Ava Fincher finished with a team-high 28 assists and added eight kills, six digs, and two service aces.
“I thought our team did a great job of overcoming early errors in the match,” Owensboro head coach Melissa Hibbs said. “They played with a high level of intensity and energy against a tough Warren East and were very efficient at the net.”
Grayson County 3, McLean County 0
Addy Kirby led the Lady Cougars with 13 digs, nine assists, five kills, two service aces, and a block in their 3-0 loss to Grayson County. Rachel Roberts added five kills, five digs, two blocks, and a service ace.
