Owensboro rolled to a clean sweep of McLean County, while Trinity outlasted Muhlenberg County 3-2 in volleyball action Thursday night.

Addie Travis led the Lady Red Devils with 10 kills and added three service aces, two blocks, and two digs in Owensboro’s 3-0 (25-11, 25-15, 25-10) sweep over McLean County. Ava Fincher finished with a team-high 22 assists while adding six kills, three digs, three service aces, and two blocks. Anna Travis recorded 10 assists, nine kills, six digs, and three service aces.
“Tonight was a great team win,” Owensboro head coach Melissa Hibbs said. “Everyone got involved and contributed tonight. I thought we did a great job overall staying aggressive throughout the night.”
Trinity 3, Muhlenberg County 2
The Lady Raiders battled back and forth but were able to come away with a 3-2 (23-25, 25-13, 29-31, 25-17, 15-9) road win.
