Officials with the Owensboro Air Show have canceled the remainder of Friday’s events due to the weather conditions. The events planned for Saturday and Sunday are still expected to go on as scheduled.
This announcement was made at 5:55 p.m. on the Air Show’s Facebook page:
Due to weather moving in, we are unfortunately calling off our evening show. If you are at the event now, we ask you please head to your vehicles. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
We will see you all tomorrow on the riverfront for an awesome show!
Saturday will begin with the Bridge Walk from 7:30 a.m. to noon, followed by the Air Show over the Ohio River from 12:30-4 p.m. Sunday’s performance will also run from 12:30-4 p.m.
Admission is free, with spectators able to sit along the riverfront.
