The Spencer County Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident on River Road near the Owensboro Bridge, commonly referred to as the “blue bridge,” that resulted in a shooting. Deputies responded to the altercation at 2 a.m. and identified a male juvenile as the perpetrator.
A report from the Spencer County Sheriff’s office states that the victim was transferred to a nearby hospital and is in critical condition.
Indiana State Police Detectives have joined the sheriff’s office in the investigation.
