Audubon Elementary School Principal Sarah Velotta has been selected to participate in the esteemed Leadership Institute for School Principals. The program is aimed at enhancing the leadership skills and capabilities of school principals across Kentucky.
“I am honored to be chosen for this program and am eager to engage in professional development that will ultimately benefit our students, school community, and the district,” Velotta said. “I look forward to collaborating with my peers and learning from experienced educators as we work together to elevate the quality of education in Kentucky.”
Velotta was chosen from a competitive pool of candidates for their outstanding leadership qualities, dedication to student success, and innovative approaches to educational leadership. As an advocate for excellence in education, Velotta has continuously strived to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment for students, faculty, and staff at Audubon Elementary School.
The Leadership Institute is organized by the Kentucky Chamber Foundation. It offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to effectively lead their schools in an ever-evolving educational landscape.
