The Peach Cobbler Factory in Owensboro is closed for now, and the owner is unsure when or if it will reopen.
“We’re closed for right now because I don’t have products to sell,” said owner Jeremy Luckett. “I can’t be open with nothing to sell. But I don’t have a good answer for when that situation will get remedied, so I don’t know an answer for if and when will reopen.”
Luckett said there has been an issue of being able to obtain product from the supplier, saying the current closure is not been something that’s been in the works for months.
“I’m still working with the supplier and corporate on trying to get the store reopened,” he said. “Ultimately, it’s a franchise so there’s a corporation behind it, too. It’s not just me. … It’s things that are beyond my control. I can’t fix them easily. I’m working on it, but it’s not something that I foresaw as an issue.”
Owensboro’s location opened in May 2023 at 3245 Mount Moriah Avenue Suite 1, just off KY 54 in the space previously home to Baskin-Robbins.
The restaurant includes a diverse and unique menu featuring many dessert options including cobbler flavors, banana pudding, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and more.
