DCHS ended this season’s Smoky Mountain Cup appearance off with a 2-1 victory over Rockvale (TN). DCHS began the tournament Saturday where they suffered a 1-6 loss to Harpeth Hall, and a 0-5 loss to Chattanooga Christian.
The Lady Panthers won their final game by a one goal margin. Goalkeepers Emily Baughn and Kaelin Labhart combined for three saves to protect the lead. Amal Kalik scored their first goal from an assist by Kate McCain, and Molly Floyd scored the game winning goal.
DCHS are back on the field in a district matchup against AHS on August 22, at 7 p.m.
