OHS led by two goals at halftime, but kicked up the tempo in the second half to add seven more goals to the scoreboard.
Saang led the team in goals and assists with a hattrick and two assists to his name. The next top scorers were Denis Juma and Sang Thang who both had two goals each. Byaruhanga Mutabazi scored the first goal of the match, and Emanuel Liche also had a goal.
Aside from Saang’s two assists, six other DCHS players recorded one assist during the game. Those players include Miles Baur, Liche, Kyle Hardison, Connor Cundiff, Carver Kingsley and Mutabazi.
DCHS 2, Greenwood 1
Sam Glover led DCHS to a 2-0 victory at home against Greenwood by recording both a goal and an assist.
Greenwood scored the first goal of the match 25 minutes into the first half. Not long after, Glover assisted the tying goal by Cameron Bell who chipped the goalkeeper to take the 1-0 lead. Glover later made a run down the middle of the box and scored what would turn out to be the game winner late in the first half.
DCHS remain undefeated in the season with a 6-0 record.
