Family-owned since 1957, Kight Home Center has been an Owensboro staple for over six decades. Carter Lumber acquired Kight in 2005, opening locations in Bowling Green, Hopkinsville, Evansville, and Nashville.
The company also has door, truss, and manufacturing facilities in Bowling Green. Manager Brett Williamson attributes Kight’s continued success to the community and the many relationships they’ve formed over the years.
“It is important to build partnerships with the community,” Williamson said. “We have been able to build and maintain those partnerships since 1957, through the 2008 recession and the pandemic.”
The center offers in-house drafting services, kitchen and bath design, window and door specialists, fireplaces, decking, siding, roofing, shower glass, custom mirrors, and closet designs. Williamson said they have no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
“We have had multiple generations of families use our products and look forward to keeping those traditions,” he said. “We sell to everyone, not just contractors. Stop by and visit our showroom with our experienced and professional staff.”
