Dynasty Sports Performance, a training program for student athletes co-founded by DaMarcus Ganaway, is expanding in 2023.

Group and private training, including sport/position-specific training, will be offered starting in March. DSP will also be sponsored by the iconic sporting goods brand, Adidas.

In addition to the performance training, program will bring back the DSP Heat Travel Basketball Club. This group of selected athletes will be able to showcase their skills and provide exposure to the sport for athletes outside of Owensboro.

“There are so many more reachable opportunities today for athletes,” Ganaway said. “We want to provide modern training, verifiable data, and use our resources to enhance opportunities for athletes in Owensboro comparable to what they see happening in major markets.”

Those opportunities include expanding the DSP Elite Travel 7v7 Club, a football team that utilizes skill position players such as quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers.

Included in the schedule for 2023 will be seven multi-day sporting events all sponsored by Adidas. Five Adidas-sponsored basketball events will be held at the Owensboro Convention Center and the Owensboro SportsCenter. One nationally recognized 7v7 tournament will take place at Kentucky Wesleyan College’s Steele Stadium. Lastly, and new to 2023, will be an Offensive/Defensive Lineman Camp. NFL trainers, NCAA coaches, and local high school coaches will be on hand for the Lineman Camp.

“We are excited to welcome Dynasty Sports Performance to the Owensboro Convention Center,” said General Manager Jeff Esposito. “Owensboro loves sports tournaments, and our dedicated facilities team is preparing to roll out the red carpet for the athletes and their families.”

Oklahoma Sooners starting quarterback Dillon Gabriel will also be partnering with DSP for 2023.

What Ganaway and co-founder Tim Davis are most excited about is the beginning of the new 501(c)(3) nonprofit, DSP Elite Project. More information about this new nonprofit will be coming soon.

DSP will launch their new website, compete2beelite.com, in January.
