After multiple requests, the primary races for Daviess County Clerk, PVA, and District Judge (Division 3) have been added the Owensboro Times Town Hall set for May 3. As previously announced, the event will also include primary races for Daviess County Family Court Judge, Sheriff, Judge-Executive, and County Commission.
The event will be held at the Bluegrass Hall of Fame & Museum and streamed live to Facebook. Jake Boswell will serve as the moderator.
An invitation has been extended to all candidates. Most have already responded that they plan to attend. An announcement will be made closer to the date of the event confirming which candidates are participating.
The event will be broadcast live on the OT Facebook Page in nine segments throughout the day. At this time, guests will be allowed to attend in-person for free. All nine segments will remain on our Facebook page and will be uploaded to owensborotimes.com for those who can’t attend or view the live feeds.
Each segment will be dedicated to a specific race (including one segment each for the East, Central, and West commission races). Exact times and the order of the segments will be announced at a later date.
Candidates will be given topic categories ahead of time, but specific questions will be asked for the first time during the event.
OT has designated specific team members to formulate questions. Residents of Daviess County are also invited to submit questions that may be asked during the event. Questions can be submitted here.
The Town Hall is presented by Castlen Steel and Daniel Dick-State Farm Insurance Agent. OT has partnered with Tanner+West to produce the live streams.
More details will be provided at a later date.
