Owensboro Times is hosting a live Town Hall on May 3 with the candidates in Daviess County’s Family Court Judge, Sheriff, Judge-Executive, and County Commission primary races. The event will be held at the Bluegrass Hall of Fame & Museum and streamed live to Facebook. Jake Boswell will serve as the moderator.
An invitation has been extended to all candidates. Most have already responded that they plan to attend. An announcement will be made closer to the date of the event confirming which candidates are participating.
The event will be broadcast live on the OT Facebook Page in six segments throughout the day. At this time, guests will be allowed to attend in-person for free. All six segments will remain on our Facebook page and will be uploaded to owensborotimes.com for those who can’t attend or view the live feeds.
Each segment will be dedicated to a specific race. In addition to one segment each for Family Court Judge, Sheriff, and Judge-Executive, there will be one segment each for the East, Central, and West commission races. Exact times and the order of the segments will be announced at a later date.
The Town Hall is presented by Castlen Steel and Daniel Dick-State Farm Insurance Agent. OT has partnered with Tanner+West to produce the live streams.
