The Owensboro Police Department is investigating a reported armed robbery that occurred Sunday morning at 1720 Leitchfield Road (Quality Convenience). The suspect fled the location on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to OPD.
According to reports, at approximately 7:21 a.m. OPD responded to Quality Convenience for a robbery of the business. According to OPD, tall white male wearing a brown jacket and mask entered the business, presented a handgun, and demanded money.
Detectives are investigating and anyone with additional information can call OPD at 270-687-8888, or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 270-687-8484.
