Two armed males injured a customer during a robbery at a gas station early Thursday morning, according to the Owensboro Police Department.
According to OPD, officers responded at approximately 3:09 a.m. to 817 Carter Road (location of the former Franey’s Food Mart) for a business robbery.
Two armed males wearing masks allegedly entered the business demanding money. A customer inside the store was struck in the head with a pistol before the two men fled the store on foot, according to OPD. The man struck with the firearm suffered minor injuries.
It is unknown at this time what was taken in the commission of the robbery.
