Owensboro Police Department shut down Frederica Street from East Parrish Avenue to Griffith Avenue on Wednesday evening.
An accident occurred knocking a power line pole into traffic. No injuries are currently reported.
Owensboro Municipal Utilities has been called to the scene.
Expect an hour closure for the section.
