Wendell Foster announced Wednesday that Ben Boarman has been named the Interim Chief Executive Officer.

Boarman will be volunteering his time in this role. As an Owensboro native, he has been involved with the organization for more than 10 years by volunteering and serving on Wendell Foster’s Board of Directors. He currently serves as the Vice-Chairman.

An active search for a permanent CEO will begin immediately.

During the interim, Boarman stated that business will be conducted as usual.

“We are moving forward with a lot of exciting projects and events ahead,” he said. “The new outpatient expansion should be opening sometime in June and we are putting the finishing touches on updates to the Day Services program. All of our planned events will continue as usual, like our second annual half marathon taking place in mid-March. We will continue to help empower people with disabilities to realize their dreams and potential. I’m very proud of this organization.”
