UPDATE: – The male from Sunday night’s shooting has been identified. Timothy Wharton-Collier, 18, Owensboro, suffered a single gunshot wound to the shoulder.

The Owensboro Police Department responded to a shooting Sunday night in the 400 block of Center Street.
OPD responded to the shooting at 7:25 p.m. and reported one male had suffered a single gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
It was determined the shooting actually occurred in the CarMart parking lot, located at 512 Triplett St.
