On Jan. 1, 2020, the following local offices will be closed:
- Fiscal Court (Judge/Executive’s Office, Fiscal Court Administration, Animal Control, Coroner’s Office, Emergency Management Agency, IT Department, Road Department, Fleet Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Engineering Department and Parks Department)
- Solid Waste (Grimes Avenue Transfer Station and West Daviess County Landfill)
- Clerk (all divisions of the Daviess County Clerk’s Office)
- PVA (Property Valuation Administrator’s Office)
- City Hall, parks offices and Owensboro Transit System
- Owensboro Municipal Utilities

All banks will be closed, although most ATMs will still be accessible.
The stock market is closed.
Regular mail will not be delivered.
Target and Walmart will be open on New Year’s Day. Sam’s Club will be closed.
Most chain restaurants are open, although the hours may be different.
