Owensboro’s Dakota Hayden has won season two of Shine, a YouTube singing competition.
BRANDON TV’s Shine is a weekly “web series that follows a group of undiscovered artists as they learn to write, sing and sell their own music.” Each week, viewers are asked to vote for their favorite artist on the YouTube platform using a team hashtag.
Hayden posted on his Facebook page after the winner was revealed:
“I want to thank each and every one of you guys for supporting me and showing me that a small town boy can and will do big things!! Hang one because I’m just getting started!!!
