This weekend marks the end of daylight saving time.
Specifically, Sunday, Nov. 3 at 2 a.m. is the official hour to set all of clocks back to standard time, although most will “fall back” before bed Saturday night.
Daylight saving time will not take effect again until March 8, 2020.
Owensboro Fire Department recommends that people use daylight saving time as a reminder to replace batteries in smoke detectors.
