NWS issues significant weather advisory for Daviess County

The National Weather Service out of Paducah has posted a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Daviess County, northeastern Muhlenberg County and McLean County until 5:30 p.m.

At 3 p.m. the Doppler radar was tracking showers and possibly a few thunderstorms along a line extending from near Beech Grove to Central City. Movement was northeast at 50 mph. Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include Owensboro, Central City, Calhoun, Livermore, Whitesville, Masonville, Knottsville, St. Joseph, Island, South Carrollton, Moseleyville and Pleasant Ridge.
