Daviess County Judge-Executive Al Mattingly has lifted the countywide burn ban due to a sufficient amount of rainfall Friday.
The burn ban was established after Daviess County was placed under a level two drought.
Residents can now light and maintain open fires in Daviess County, though Kentucky forest fire season still lasts until Dec. 15
