On Friday evening, Aug. 31, the Owensboro Police Department was dispatched to the 1100 block of Allen Street in reference to a report of an individual being stabbed.
The victim, 23-year-old Manuel Gonzalez, and the suspect were two men known to each other. The dispute was over a woman known to both parties.
Gonzalez was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect has not yet been located.
