The Western Kentucky Botanical Garden’s Annual Plant Sale & Gardeners’ Market will return to an in-person format this year, and officials hope to have music and various types of vendors at the event on April 29.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Botanical Garden, located at 2731 West 2nd Street.
Laurna Strehl, Executive Director of WKBG, said they are expanding the sale to include plants that aren’t easy to find at retail stores.
“If you’re a true plant lover, you want to see what you’re buying before you buy it, and select the plant yourself,” she said.
Strehl said the vent will also include a garden tool sharpening service. Snippy Jim will be at the Garden sharpening snips, pinking shears, knives, garden tools, axes, loopers, and manual hedge trimmers.
All items can be dropped off to be sharpened for $5 per item.
