While O’Charley’s Restaurant and Bar announced it has permanently closed one of its two locations in Evansville, local management said that the Owensboro location on Frederica Street is doing well and the future looks promising.
Officials at the Owensboro location noted their lease is not up until 2032, so they look forward to keep their doors open for a long time.
Officials said that Owensboro’s location has previously been rated the No. 2 best location across the entire O’Charly’s chain.
According to a statement provided to WEVV, the location on the west side of Evansville closed due to a variety of industry challenges. CEO W. Craig Barber told WEVV that location closed permanently as of Sunday.
