There’s no shortage of food trucks serving Owensboro, but which one is the best? The inaugural “Owensboro Food Truck of the Year” voting competition kicks off Friday and runs through July 4. Voting will be held exclusively on OwensboroTimes.com.
ABOUT
Owensboro Food Truck of the Year is a voting contest to determine Owensboro-Daviess County’s favorite food truck that serves the area, based solely on the votes cast in our online poll launching Friday. The inaugural Owensboro Food Truck of the Year is co-sponsored by Owensboro Times and First United Bank and Trust.
VOTING/WINNER
Votes must be cast on our website; the voting page will go live on Friday. Comments on Facebook or other social media outlets will not count as votes.
Food trucks will be given QR codes on Friday to allow customers to easily scan the code and vote from their phone. Owensboro Times will also be sharing the voting link on our social media pages throughout the competition.
Voting will run through 11:59 p.m. on July 4 Central Time. The winner will be announced July 7.
ELIGIBILITY
Any food truck/trailer, including those that only serve beverages or dessert, that serves Owensboro-Daviess County is eligible. It does not have to be based in Owensboro.
