Respect campaign announces contest winners, prizes

In 2018, the Wendell Foster “Respect Starts Now!” campaign conducted 116 presentations to over 8,200 students.

“It was a complete Wendell Foster team effort,” said John Gleason, Wendell Foster Community Outreach Specialist. “We’re thankful for everyone’s support in making this a successful year.”

The “Respect Starts Now!” campaign offered a poster, essay and bulletin board contest. For each contest, the winners were determined by judges, including employees from Wendell Foster, people supported by Wendell Foster and people from the community.

· 1st Place: Lane Ballard; School: Daviess County High School; Grade: 11th; Prize: $50 Visa Gift Card & RSN! Shirt
· 2nd Place: Lauren Emberton; School: Daviess County High School; Grade: 11th; Prize: $25 Restaurant Gift Card & RSN! Shirt
· 3rd Place: Emily Rumage; School: Daviess County High School; Grade: 11th; Prize: $15 Restaurant Gift Card & RSN! Shirt
