Regional Junior College Fair to be held at local high schools Tuesday and Wednesday

High schools in Owensboro-Daviess County are hosting a Regional Junior College Fair on Tuesday and Wednesday. More than 40 colleges and universities will participate in these events, sharing information with high school juniors about opportunities for continued education beyond high school.

The events are scheduled as follows:

  • Tuesday, 9-10:30 a.m. at Apollo High School
  • Tuesday, 1-2 p.m. at Owensboro Catholic High School
  • Wednesday, 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Daviess County High School
  • Wednesday, 2-3 p.m. at Owensboro High School.

“We are pleased to have so many colleges and universities who want to attend our fair and support our students in their future endeavors,” said DCPS college and career readiness coordinator Amanda Jerome. “It is a tribute to our community’s school districts that we are able to work together to provide the highest quality informational services for our students. When the youth of our community succeed, that benefits all of us.”
