The Owensboro Parks & Recreation Department is now taking registrations for its annual Fall T-ball league. This league is for children 3-6 years old and is non-competitive, with the emphasis on teaching players the fundamentals of how to play and enjoy baseball.
The deadline to register is July 14. It is recommended you register early by calling the Parks office at 270-687-8700 or visiting the online registration page here.
The season begins August 14, and all games will be played on Mondays at Jack C. Fisher Park. Make-up games may vary pending weather and facility use. The season will consist of 10 regular season games.
The registration fee is $56 plus tax per child. There is a sibling discount of $10 per child for each additional sibling registered after the first child who resides in the same household. Each child will receive a team T-shirt, hat, and end-of-season awards.
There will be a mandatory parent informational meeting August 7.
