Tree seedlings are being given away on April 20 by the Daviess County Conservation District ahead of Earth Day. The event will take place at Yellow Creek Park (5710 KY 144) from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. or while supplies last.
The seedlings are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and limited to 10 per person.
Tree seedlings available include: Bald Cypress, Pecan, Yellow-Poplar, Pawpaw, Persimmon, White Pine, White Oak, Red Shumard Oak, Northern Red Oak, Cherrybark Oak, Swamp White Oak, and Swamp Chestnut Oak.
