Owensboro Parks and Recreation are hosting “Chalk the Walk” at Moreland Park Saturday evening, allowing participants to compete for prizes and take part in other fun activities.
The contest starts at 6 p.m. and participants will be separated by ages: 5-10; 11-15; and 16+. Chalk is provided while supplies last; however, colors are not guaranteed.
Prizes will be awarded to the first-place winner in each division. The winner will be announced on the Facebook page around 8:30 p.m. when the contest ends.
Division winners will then be put in a contest for the overall best art. A public vote to determine the winner will be held on Facebook through Sunday, May 22.
