Daviess County and the City of Owensboro are hosting a free paper shredding event 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 1 at the Owensboro Sportscenter.
Gather up old files, receipts, cancelled checks, tax forms and other sensitive documents for safe disposal.
The event is open to all Daviess County residents, businesses and institutions, with a 100-pound paper limit per vehicle.
The shredding service is provided by Piranha Mobile Shredding, experts in the certified destruction of confidential documents.
