The Owensboro Parks & Recreation Department is currently taking registrations for the spring/summer adult softball leagues, which includes men’s and co-ed competitive leagues.
Co-ed league games will take place on Wednesdays, with the men’s league on Thursdays. Games will take place at Kentucky Legend Fields at Jack C. Fisher Park. There will be 10 regular season games followed by tiered single-elimination tournaments.
The season will run from April 11 through July 28. A mandatory pre-season meeting will be held March 28. The minimum age to play is 16 years old, and anyone under age 18 must have parental consent.
Each league regular season and tournament champion will receive an award plus custom championship shirts.
Registrations and rosters must be submitted by March 10. The fee is $360 per team and includes registration, sanction and umpire fees. Register online at owensboroparks.org or call 270-687-8700.
