The 2021 Parade of Homes, hosted by the Home Builders Association of Owensboro, returns this weekend and next. There are a total of 13 homes from seven builders in this year’s lineup.
The Parade is this Saturday and Sunday, as well as June 26-27. Hours for both weekends are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
Information on the homes in this year’s Parade can be found below. Maps will be available at each home. A map can also be viewed here, or click here for an interactive map. Some addresses may not appear on mapping services such as Google Maps because they are on new streets.
Richards Stallings, HBAO Executive Director, said there is a smaller number of homes in the Parade than normal due to a hot home buying market combined with a labor shortage and increase in supply costs. But he said there will be plenty for visitors to take in nonetheless.
“There’s a mix of different style homes and different interpretations from the builders,” he said. “There’s always custom builds plus a variety of options in established neighborhoods.”
Stallings said many people attend the Parade for remodeling ideas of their own home, or to see which builder they may want to go with down the road.
“We will always have people that are getting design or future plan ideas or remodeling or just sprucing up their home,” he said.
