Cassie Stelmach has converted her passion from a hobby to a storefront, recently opening Tied with a Bow Gift Shop. Located at 3601 Frederica Street, Unit 8, the shop specializes in gifts and wrapping for any occasion.
“I’ve always wanted to do this,” Stelmach said. “I’ve always enjoyed shopping for gifts and wrapping them; it’s always come easy to me. My husband and I thought now was the perfect time to do this.”
The boutique gift shop features various gift options for baby showers, weddings, graduations, birthdays, holidays such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, and other special occasions.
“I used to operate an embroidery business out of my home, and I’ve always been creative and enjoyed crafting the perfect gift,” she said. “I’ve never had a brick-and-mortar, but with my kids all grown, it was time to take a leap of faith.”
The store is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s located next to Pro Nails, just across the street from Red Lobster.
“My goal is to simply have a place that the community can go for boutique gifts,” Stelmach said. “I like the size of this store. It’s just the right size, and I’ve worked hard to stock it with items that people will want and need.”
